Vision
very church should have some vision for its future, a picture of what the next generation of its family looks like. Seeing something that is greater than what you see now is not complicated; obtaining that picture is often where the challenge lies. In essence, big visions are obtained by being faithful with small beginnings.
od’s Word states that we should not despise small beginnings and Jesus taught that we should be faithful with little to be made ruler over much. Christian Assembly had its small beginnings and through faithfulness and diligence we have enjoyed strong, steady growth over the years. We are honored to shepherd the flock that God has provided but are always interested in reaching more for the Glory of God.
e are content with what we have been entrusted with right now, but we would be amiss to believe that the Lord does not want more. He wants His family to grow and so do we. Growth represents life.
Acquiring this vision requires prayer, patience and faith. Prayer, or time with God, is where the heart of God is gained. Patience is where the plans are applied to the Heart of God, and faith is where the Heart of God is made reality.
ur vision is to be a family of believers that is dedicated to the purpose of providing Christ’s total gospel for the total development of the total man.
Our heart is to get the lost saved the saved established, the established trained and the trained sent out.
nternally our vision is to be a church that sets the standard for teaching the entire word of God with accuracy and conviction. A church that is in the business of building people not buildings. Our vision is complete spiritual, physical, emotional, social and financial success for each member of the Christian Assembly family.
xternally our objective is to effectively and creatively reach beyond our doors. We will reach our neighborhoods practically and we will reach beyond our borders powerfully.
